This SOCK was developed by: Melissa Hoffman and Meredith Woy
Big Ideas merge with local activities in the 2012-2013 SOCK, as users explore the Fabric of the Cosmos and how the universe works. The lessons focus on gravity and magnetism, and enable users to interact with large scale ideas through hands-on activities such as making “planets” revolve around a “black hole” or watching a magnetic field appear.
