In celebration of the NASA Mars Pathfinder Lander and the launch of the NASA Mars Rover Spirit, the 2003-2004 SOCK takes a look at space and time through various activities in Spanning Space. Users can contribute to a nation-wide experiment that sheds light on the challenges of predicting how objects like the Mars rovers will land once they reach their target.
