About the Recipient
Zone and Chapter: Swarthmore College
I’m currently a rising senior at Swarthmore College studying Physics and Mathematics. I’ve been involved in SPS for 2 years now, having served as a board member, treasurer, and now co-president. Currently, I have also been a physics teaching assistant for four semesters now. In both of these roles, I enjoy the engagement I get with other students and promote diversity and inclusive initiatives by the department. In addition to this, I am currently doing research in computational cosmology (with previous experience in optics and biophysics) and hope to go to graduate school to continue to work in cosmology.
