Zone and Chapter: Angelo State University
My name is Sean Czarnecki, and I am a senior Physics, Geology, and Mathematics major at Angelo State University. I am the treasurer of the Angelo State SPS chapter and President of the Angelo State Geologic Exhibition Organization. I am conducting both physics and geology research that I have presented as both poster and oral presentations at regional meetings and which has also resulted in two publications. The publication and presentation of my physics research in bremsstrahlung radiation won my advisor, Dr. Scott Williams, and I the Hyer Award for undergraduate research at the Spring 2016 Texas Section APS Meeting. I plan to study planetary science in graduate school after finishing my bachelor’s at Angelo State.
