About the Recipient
Zone and Chapter: Cleveland State University
I am currently entering my senior year at Cleveland State University and am majoring in physics. I am also in the 4+1 program and will receive my Masters in Optics in 2024. I have done research in optical light scattering of polymeric microgels with my advisor, Dr. Streletzky. I have served as the secretary of our SPS chapter over the last year and I am now transitioning to leading our chapter as the president over the 2022-23 school year. After graduation, I hope to continue my work in optics research. In my free time, I am an avid reader of all genres, I pursue many physical fitness endeavors, and I enjoy golfing when the Ohio weather cooperates.
