About the Recipient

Zone and Chapter: Texas Lutheran University

I am a senior at Texas Lutheran University, majoring in Physics and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. I became involved with SPS from the beginning of my freshman year. I served as Treasurer for TLU’s SPS chapter in my sophomore year. In the summers following my freshman and sophomore year, I worked as an intern for a private research company contracted by the Department of Defense. After receiving my bachelor’s degrees, I plan to pursue physics research while continuing on to graduate school for a master’s degree in optical sciences.
