About the Recipient
Zone and Chapter: Rhodes College
I am a senior at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, pursuing a major in Physics and a minor in Chemistry. My involvement in SPS started when I was a freshmen, and since then, I’ve served as the Public Relations Officer and am currently the Outreach Officer. For the past year, I’ve been doing research in radiation oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the expanding field of proton therapy, and I’ll be continuing that research until the end of this summer. During the school year, I also run Cross Country and Track, which I’ve been doing since high school, and am a brother of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Sigma Nu. In the next year, my plan is to take the MCAT and apply to medical schools.
