Dorothy Doughty is a junior at Rutgers University studying Physics. She is the upcoming President for SPS for the 2023-2024 school year. She is very involved in research and works in the Quantum Materials Laboratory under Dr. Jak Chakhalian. Last summer she did research in thin film through SURP and this summer she will be doing Suli through Princeton Plasma Labs. She plans to apply to graduate school next year with focus on condensed matter, specifically thin films.
