About the Recipient

I am a native Oregonian and have worked in a number of positions starting out as a soccer referee, advancing to a courtesy clerk at Safeway, and am now employed at the Endophyte Service lab at Oregon State University (OSU). I am a dedicated student and an avid athlete. I was the 106 lb. state champion wrestler in 2013 and also participated in soccer and tennis all four years of high school. My plans are to obtain a bachelor degree in Physics as well as an advanced degree at OSU. By taking AP courses and attending college during the summer, I was able to complete two years of college in one and will be starting my second year as a junior. I am also active in my church, volunteer, and enjoy the outdoors.
