About the Recipient

I am a junior at Harvard College, originally from Romania, studying Physics with a minor in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Academically, my main interests are Computational Biophysics and Machine Learning, and I am pursuing this passion through different research experiences and interdisciplinary coursework. In the upcoming year, I will apply to graduate programs to further my goal of using Physics theory to better understand biological phenomena at the cell level. Throughout my journey, I wish to continue my work started in the SPS family, advocating for a more inclusive scientific community.
