About the Recipient
Zone and Chapter: Juniata College
I am a rising senior at Juniata College, majoring in engineering physics and minoring in mathematics. After Juniata, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in some type of engineering. I am treasurer of the Juniata Stargazers club, vice president of the Women in Physics Advocacy club, and treasurer of Juniata’s Society of Physics students. Within Juniata College’s Physics and Engineering Physics Department I work as a teaching assistant for the introductory physics labs and a peer tutor for the introductory physics courses. Outside of physics I am involved in yoga club and dance ensemble where I enjoy tap dancing.
