Project Description: The SPS chapter at The University of Southern Mississippi performs outreach at many schools in the surrounding areas. We go to high schools and middle schools in Mississippi and perform visual demonstrations pertaining to thermodynamics, optics, and mechanics. SPS would like to implement a program in which we frequently visit one specific high school that has a high concentration of underrepresented students or students with a minority status. We wish to do this over the span of a semester with multiple visits.
