Project Description: This SPS chapter at Rhodes College had a very exciting year in outreach, including the continuation of their frequent school trips and the inauguration of several new events and collaborations on campus and in the community. Once again they hosted a pumpkin drop at Halloween and presented dozens of interactive demonstrations at the “Rites to Play” carnival for young children. Hundreds of students and their family members from the Memphis, TN, area attended both events. All the while, they maintained their high tempo of classroom events at nearby schools, drawing continued praise from the teachers whose classes they enrich.
