Project Description: The SPS students at Purdue University presented the Liquid Nitrogen Cryogenic Show at Curiosity, Confidence, Challenge, a conference for middle school girls on careers in science, technology, engineering, and math in Indianapolis. With activities and demos that involved the 450 young women in every step, SPS members uses liquid nitrogen to demonstrate the effects of extreme cold on chemical reactions using glow sticks, electronics with circuits, and matter, with the infamous shattering racquetball.
