Project Description: While I plan to pursue a PhD in physics, and an entire career in research, I have learned from my experiences the importance of promoting my field to youth and the public. Without such effort, the flow of youth into the field will dwindle and the public support for physics research will recede. Rather, by brightening the perspective of physics in the eyes of the masses, people will be more willing to explore their own scientific curiosity, public policy will be positively guided by scientific insight, and communal progress will ensue.
