About the Recipient
Zone and Chapter: University of San Diego
I will be graduating this semester from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Physics. I am originally from Croatia and spent most of my life living around Europe. I always knew I wanted to do something in science and I eventually found my way to physics and USD. As president of my SPS chapter I have loved seeing us build our chapter and grow connections throughout the past year. I am extremely thankful for this amazing community and endless support.
Outside of school and research I am an avid skier, rock climber, hiker and traveler! I am also extremely passionate about conservation, the environment, and sustainability. I hope to put my scientific knowledge and skills to work for for the benefit of our planet!
