Project Name: Engaging Our Youth: Raising High School Students’ Interest in Physics Through Thought Provoking and Interactive Demos

Project Description: Our SPS chapter at Lamar University has built a tradition in promoting physics among middle and high-school students in the Southeast Texas area. We plan to continue and expand our outreach activities by hosting more high school visits and organizing road shows with interesting optics and electromagnetism demos with the goal of attracting more students to our program.
