I am a senior at Southern Adventist University where I am a biophysics major with minors in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. I have been fortunate to have research internships at the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am active in our local SPS chapter, serving as secretary. In the upcoming school year, I will serve as Student Association President. One of my key initiatives is to expand access to summer research opportunities for students at my university, especially students underrepresented in science. Post graduation, I intend to enroll in a biophysics PhD program and eventually have my own lab as a principal investigator.
