Meet Rianna Ehrenreich, New SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma Programs Engagement Associate

Rianna Ehrenreich.
In October, Rianna Ehrenreich rejoined SPS National as the SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma programs engagement associate. She previously worked as the SPS office intern for over a year and actively participated in her SPS chapter, having been inducted into Sigma Pi Sigma in 2023. In 2024, Ehrenreich received a bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy alongside a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Rochester (UR).
“I’ve had a fantastic experience with SPS and am excited to continue building a supportive community for undergraduates and professionals via new alumni engagement programs,” Ehrenreich says.
As a student, Ehrenreich was a peer advisor and a teaching assistant for multiple courses, while also handling programs such as the SPS e-newsletter. She was president of the UR Astronomy Club and may be best remembered for donning a large Moon costume during the April 8, 2024, solar eclipse.
