Project Description: North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Sigma Pi Sigma chapter proposes Operation Phlogiston, a culturally grounded initiative to reignite physics identity, belonging, and visibility at an
HBCU through heritage programming, inclusive community events, and outreach that empowers
underrepresented students to see themselves within physics.
