Fabian Gonzalez Rodriquez awarded 2024 SPS Outstanding Service Award

About the Recipient

Fabian Gonzalez Rodriquez is currently a sophomore physics major at Tarleton State University. He has been a member of the Society of Physics students chapter at TSU (Zone 13) since fall 2022 and currently serves as president of this chapter. Fabian is passionate about his education and is always at the ready to assist other students. He is quick to jump to action when other students are struggling with physics concepts/problems/homework. As president, he is always present in the SPS room and continually encourages other students to become involved in the TSU chapter. Throughout the current academic year, Fabian has served above and beyond in his involvement with outreach activities to the local community. His passion for physics is infectious, especially to the local K-12 students, as they seamlessly flock to participate in his hands-on activities.
