About

As the first woman to receive a degree in physics from U California, Davis (1965), I have remained interested in the history of women in science and have given talks on that topic around the country. My website covers 4,000 Years of Women in Science (http://www.4kyws.ua.edu ) and my book is The Hidden Giants available from Amazon.

Job Description: My job WAS to prepare the Astronomical Almanac, the Air Almanac, and the Nautical Almanac for publication each year for the US Navy. These books are the standards in their field. It takes a year of steady effort to prepare the books (which are prepared 2 years in advance of year of use).
