Robert D Troyer
About
I joined SPS/Sigma Pi Sigma during my second year in grad school at Purdue University in 1971. I had come to Purdue after receiving my B.A. in Physics from Goshen College in Goshen, IN, in 1970. After earning my M.S. in Physics in 1972 I took a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at Owens Technical College in Perrysburg, OH, where I taught for six years. In 1978 I was lured away to become Software Manager of TL Industries, just down the street from the college. During my time at TL I directed the development of over 60 process control systems for the automotive, steel, and glass industries. In 1984 I took the position of Director of Product Development at Autosig Systems, Inc., in Irving, TX, where I have been ever since.
I have always had a love of teaching and want to convey my knowledge and experience to the current generation of students.
