Moné Abbott is entering her junior year at Howard University, majoring in physics and mathematics and minoring in chemistry. She’s an active and vital member of her school’s SPS chapter, serving on the executive board for 2 years, and she has been elected to serve as vice president in this upcoming school year. She has conducted research on 2D materials at Georgetown University and is a part of Howard University’s Quantum Materials Modelling Lab. Moné wants to use her role on the National Council to help elevate the mutlitude of margianlized identities that make up our community.
