Merna Morcos

Merna Morcos is a Chemistry major at Ohlone College with plans to transfer and pursue a career in pediatric neurology. She currently serves as Associate Zone Councilor for Zone 18 and holds leadership roles as President of the Physics Club, Vice President of AMSA, and a coordinator in student government. She has conducted neuroscience research with Stanford’s VA Palo Alto team, interned with NASA’s L’SPACE Academy, and developed a lead-detection innovation project to address public health needs. Passionate about equity and education, Merna volunteers as a tutor, supports patient care at Washington Hospital, and advocates for inclusive spaces in STEM. She hopes to use her SPS role to uplift underrepresented voices and help chapters feel more connected and supported.
