Merna Morcos

Hi! My name is Merna, and I’m a neuroscience student at UC Berkeley interested in medical physics. I’ve had the opportunity to do research at Stanford Medicine, which has helped me learn more about how research can improve patient care. I also attended the AAPM Clinical Meeting in Florida, where I learned about the different ways medical physicists work with healthcare teams and use physics to improve treatments and patient outcomes. These experiences have made me even more excited about pursuing a career that combines science, medicine, and research. As a returning SPS National Council member, I’m excited to continue supporting students, growing SPS chapters, and helping more people discover opportunities in physics!!
