Matt Wright

Matthew Wright is the chair of the physics department at Adelphi University and Society of Physics Students Zone 2 counselor. He is author of two books, Sustaining Colleges and Universities through Community and Be a Shark, The Secret Sauce to Winning in Life after High School. Professor Wright leads a research team in atomic physics and physics outreach. He is the chair of Cosmic Pathways, a new type of physics conference designed for high school and college students. He is also on the executive committee for the 2025 Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Congress.
