Evan McNees

Evan is a fourth-year student at North Carolina State University pursuing a degree in physics with a concentration in fluid dynamics. He has participated in astrophysics research since his freshman year. He studies the fluid dynamics of stars and supernovae. Evan has previously held the offices of treasurer and president in the NC State SPS chapter. In this role, he helped plan meetings, coordinated with the university, and did outreach to schools and businesses. In his free time, Evan enjoys cooking, working out, reading, playing basketball, and Super Smash Bros.
